In todays class we had some time to talk to different people about our projects. This was great since it allowed us to "brainstorm" with someone other than those who we are working with. This allowed for feedback to be had regarding my project and decisions, which is something I'm always willing to receive.
Most of the suggestions given were related to watching movies related to our genre, which I took count of. I ended up re watching some of the film openings I had seen before related to the Drama genre which also helps me get an idea on how to involve the audience in my film opening.
Since we also had a classmate in the meeting who didn't start his project yet due to personal reasons we suggested to look and research different topics related to his genre, which was similar to one of the people in our meeting. Luckily I had already done this at the beginning of my project which is why I have a good stand point at the moment, this might also be related to why me and my teammate are slightly "rushing".
Further expanding on the "rushing" situation, my teammate told me that during his teams call with our classmates they let him know that he might be rushing the project since we are pretty far up the production stages of our film opening. So I have decided to maybe slow down a little and do more posts on research and my discoveries throughout this project, instead of rushing straight to my script, and storyboard.
